Social capital of the US is diminishing. It will become Et Pluribus, Pluribus. As the the US return to its natural size, the bonding between agents in society starts breaking down and the society becomes more divisive.

This divisiveness, brought about by the lack of bonding between agents of society, I could see in Brazil as the country did not have an economic problem. It always had a social problem.

This type of news, scrutinizing people in higher echelons become scrutinized will be a daily issue. The idea of the population that the power is being abused will increase over time.
