If there's a compelling argument that legal polygamy is not linked to gay marriage, you certainly have not advanced it, besides saying it's nonsense. My argument is a straightforward one. Read the posts here supporting gay marriage and substitute polygamy. And the argument is a more compelling one. Or another direction...Pretend society had never invented marriage, or the term marriage and were attempting to devise a way of ensuring long term survivability of the human condition. Which supports that goal more, polygamy or homosexuality?
