Westpacific;

My grandfather came to America cause he was working in a Union Shop and hated the laziness

Working in a union shop where?

You seem to suggest that Americans don't or can't work and so I suppose you think the only ones willing to do an honest days work is illegal Mexicans who get no health care, no unemployment - well no benefits. Some world you propose for American workers.

I continue to say - BULL! You look for the pathetic exception rather than look at all those who are doing hard menial jobs day after day. Those changing bed pans in old folks homes, or those pouring concrete in 90 degree weather, or those fixing downed power lines in freezing weather after a storm. The list is endless, but these people deserve a working wage and deserve a few benefits such as health care.

Instead the working man was rewarded with a banking system so corrupt in their addiction to fast money that they ruined the working man's retirement account and brought our economy to its knees. They did this while paying less in taxes on their million dollar paychecks than the teacher or nurse. Give me a break!

If workers don't earn a decent wage, how can they purchase cars, houses, groceries, what have you and keep the economy humming?

What do you do for a living? I would expect you do not have Union in your family.

There are positives for having Union when management treats the worker like a machine.
There are positives in having a strong and respected management and not having a Union.
