Here in California, we have yet to lay off a single public employee, though I don't see how we're going to get through this latest crisis without doing so.

It's getting ugly around here. Most of these people went to the public sector for job security... NOT!

Ah-nuld has finally turned back into the conservative Governator we elected back in 2003, for better or for worse. At least now he has the mandate to "blow up the boxes" like he once promised, but the legislature will continue to act as if they're in la-la land.

Somethings got to give. You stop paying your public employees they will probably stop coming to work. It will be interesting to watch, from afar.

You might get a real demonstration of "your tax dollars NOT at work".
