I don't know much about terriers either. That is the breed a friend always buys when she gets a new dog. I know they are very loyal and quite lovable. I don't recall her dogs barking too much, other than when a stranger arrives, and they have all seemed pretty compliant and obedient.

BTW another special thank you is in order, and I wanted to tell you the books both arrived this week. I especially like the look and feel of "This Kind of War." As I mentioned, I got the library edition a few days ago, and when I went to mark the page I'm on in the book you sent I noticed that it is a more condensed version. Frankly...........I'm glad. It is a huge write (in small letters) and I can get the gist of it without a thorough discussion of the weaponry. Some of the technical terms had me shaking my head.

I'll finish that one first, but I have to tell you I am excited about reading the other one "The Revolution Remembered." Amazing these stories have never been revealed. I think I'll be able to identify better with the men from my family who fought for our independence after reading these accounts.

Thanks again Josh!

;) M

I don't have much experience with terriers, but they seem to bark a bit much.

They are great dogs if you keep them busy. My little jack russell is like a good service buddy, it doesn't matter if it might have been his fault that you got into trouble(he gets me in a tight spot with the horses now & then)....he will do his best to get you back out of it.

He rides in my trucks, on my tractors and only makes noise when he wants me to help him ferret out some form of vermin. He can catch a rat faster than I can get my spoon in a chocolate sundae.
