We are so conditioned to eat "low fat" that it's difficult to break the habit. After all, wheat products look so lovely and clean compared to fat products.

Now that I have my heart disease on the run and no longer have pot belly, I have relaxed a bit. I am at the "moderation in all things" POV. I keep off wheat, corn, oil, potatoes and rice and let the rest take care of itself. If I make sure I get plenty of protein and fat, the veggie carbs will take care of themselves.
