“I don’t know if this is a Tom Daschle-type vetting failure on the part of the White House, or whether it was potentially an intentional omission to try to rush this confirmation through without such controversial documents seeing the light of day,” Long said

It's another case of "all my friends think she's great, who would object?"

One day soon, this subject of the disparity of the crimes and who is doing them will have to be seriously addressed. Obviously, there is something seriously wrong, when "African Americans" have high crime rates, and when their numbers of population are in the 11-13% of the total population....

Why?
Ask Justice Clarence Thomas.
Ask Bill Cosby.
Ask Walter Williams.
Ask Larry Elder.
Ask Thomas Sowell.
THEY KNOW and have spoken of the problems many times.

Don't ask Jesse Jackson (haven't missed him, but he must be under the bus too).
Don't ask Al Sharpton. He panders and accomplishes nothing.
Don't ask the New Black Panthers. They are part of the problem.
Don't ask the folks of ACORN. They just want something from someone else, and don't want to work for it for themselves, with their own sweat. It's easier to pick the pockets of the 'rich'.....

--"The problem of crime and violence in American society is so complex, it is unreasonable to think that capital punishment will result in preventing it or diminishing it."
