As far as cultural evolution goes, gay bashign is sort of the last stupid thing humans are doing en amss and they have almost wrapped their mind around that. the right wing wanted a consitutional ammendemnt ot stop it. That is three stooges thinking-lol. Womens rights are increasing at the speed of light and we have a brillant black president--hooray!! What you are chagrined about, IMO are two primary things: one the collapse of social systems due to over population and 2 the metamorphases to an existential world. The only way the human species can survive an existential world is through massive education.
