Los Angeles is usually somewhat cool in June. In fact, there is a term called "June Gloom" that refers to the fog that is prevalent throughout the month. However, We had rain 3 days last week....and it is staying gloomy all day (and night). Normally it burns off by noon. I just talked to my Dad yesterday. He lives up at lake tahoe. Apparently yesterday was the first non-rainy day in a month.

It was great for the little league season though. We never had any of those brutally hot days that are so tough on the kids. Almost every day for the past three months was relatively cool.

After the show "The Sun", there was a show called "The Earth". They went into the magnetosphere of the earth that is generated in the earth's core. Here's something very interesting. The magnetosphere has been weakening as well. And it turns out that the Magnetosphere helps to protect us from the sun's rays.

Just another example of how the global warmers are reacting to something before they know all of the facets of the system. It seems that there is more to this climate thing than just CO2.
