Dave, NK doesn't even have a missile that will REACH Alaska, and it'll be at least a decade before that have that and a nuke warhead that will reach here. There's just not much to fear monger with for your team, the fear mongering team.

While it is easy to understand a misguided president making the mistake Obama made in the first place, it is hard to understand his unwillingness to back up on it now. The appropriate action, given where we are today, would be for Obama to clearly state, "Perhaps we were a bit hasty in cutting back our missile defense spending; it is my decision to ramp up spending from the previously planned $10B to $15B, in light of NK's obtuse behavior".

Why would he do that....we have more than enough missiles to take care of NK.

In addition, you seem to have problems understanding that this country is broke in part due to spending huge sums on defense to sate your paranoia.

Missile defense was Reagan's idea. From start to finish. And it kills you guys to think the "warmonger" actually dreamed up an idea that would lead to not only reduced threats worldwide from missile strikes, but the end of the Cold War and reduced nuclear threat on top of it.</IL>

Yes, another 'brilliant' idea by Reagan.....we've seen how well tax cuts for the rich have worked out.
