Well, it's a trade off...
If I get off-line to use the phone I am cut off from what's going on. Besides, every time I have ever called E*Trade, I am on hold for at least 20 minutes. So what's a guy supposed to do. Now the market is up over 60 points and the big opportunity has passed for now. Sure there might be another one, but when?

I just got in through to Etrade by phone. Had to redial several times before my line could get past the phone company.
