NK wants Obama to beg for their safe return and Obama doesn't want to beg. I wish it were that simple, but I suspect NK is looking for more than to see Obama beg. I agree. I was being too simplistic. There is little Obama or anyone else can do. Ultimately, we'll get them in a back-room deal, I suspect. I am curious to see how this plays out. D. Gergen said on AC 360 last nite that Obama has watched how the Clinton and Bush administrations operated in good faith only to get stiffed by NK. Obama doesn't want to see a repeat but I agree......I don't know how he can stop it.
