Debt rules the day.

Many hoped the new administration would break with the past.
In the greatest economic crisis since '29, maybe that was too much to hope for.

Some things have changed, but not nearly enough. The administration takes its counsel from the elites who put us here, who gained the most, and will lose the least.

They talk recovery, with crippling debt. Ordinary people laugh bitterly, and say the emperor has no clothes.
