Start with cargo planes in the most sophisticated airports. Test the system and the move to passenger planes. It is easy.

Very appropriate considering Europe with it's regulations. The amount of regulations is killing some businesses, for example electrical contractors are being buried under regulations.

IATA is a government-sanctioned cartel that strangles air travel. I comment eextenseively on it on the Boom Busts and recoveries thread.

Special interest groups pull the wool over the eye of the uneducated public who unaware defend the interest of the special interest group.

IMF, World Bank, IATA, the nefarious ITU, ICAO, ICANN

And the US is guilty of much of what goes on in the special interests group sphere.

We know it and we are looking very very closely at it...

But aviation liability insurance is different. It is activated by a finding of negligence on the part of an airline. If there is no negligence, then arguably there is no liability, and no obligation to pay claims.

Well, everything in aviation is different!

Here's what happened: The computers may have shown as failing -in the automatic messages to their maintenance stations- as pilots tried to reboot them. Not that they had actually failed.

The plane was put on rough ride thought the stomr. Shook down real good. The computers kept it flying as steadly as they could.

As the composite materials that replaced aluminum and titanium failed, warped the body of the airplanes, which no longer had an aerodynamic shape.

The computers could not figure out how that deformed shape was moving through air and frantically tried to compensate for it trying to keep it stable.

Pilots saw the warnings. They imagined the computers were getting crazy, wrestle control from the computers, and tried to reboot. By them the structure of the craft was no longer able to keep airborne and dismantled and feel to the sea.
