There was too much joy, too much celebration and not enough consideration of the dilemna of occupation. Arabs caused the mess and that spurred a return of euro colonialism this time with Jews having the horrible job of white mans burden. Not good, just like US in vietnam. Doesnt work out well. Well we are where we are. And though i will denounce chris at every turn and berate ted for his stupidity, i essentially agree that israel will have to take the necesary steps. Obama is anything but stupid. He has one term to solve this. He doesnt want jews and dem base coming apart. He has the respect of jewish americans and most israelis, albeit with a certain degree of nervousness. But make no mistake, without recognition of israel by pal and arab states and at minimum a 10 year hudna with hamas and hizbo, there cannot be peace. Because at its core, the arabs have bought the anti-semitic lie and line hook line and sinker and it will take awhile to unwind. Hussein Obama da man who can do this, though odds as always are long. PS sorry to order you but fighting this battle alone isnt fun. Being accused of dual loyalty is not enjoyable. And having only support from extreme righties who want to blow the entire frakking world up is disturbing.
