They don't care if the Global Warming is a farce. They constructed it as a boogeyman and it worked well for a while. South Park had a great feature a few years back in which Al Gore wanted everyone to fear ManBearPig. It was hilarious. They also had an episode in which Randy was dressed for sub zero weather and crawly down a burning street whining that he was freezing to death because Global Warming causes freezing.

Personally, we are all far more threatened by people who think like Kenneth than we will ever be threatened by so-called Climate Change. The Kenneths of the world swallow whole whatever parties like the Democrats and politicians like Obama are selling. There are few more dangerous than the dangerously gullible, particularly because they tend to run in packs. They are what Obama is counting on.
