The judge didn't agree.

I don't think he disagreed either, he didn't make any statement about fairness. He just largely accepted the agreement the government arranged.

Accepting an agreement of the creditors either as is, or with slight modifications is pretty standard in a bankruptcy proceeding. My problem isn't with the judges decision, its with the initial agreement.
