My dad was a senior-level executive, hob-nobbed with CEOs, played golf with them, tennis, etc. In his opinion, there's really no difference between them and anyone else except the opportunities that were available to them. They aren't really any more talented or intelligent than anyone else. Often, they just went to the "right" schools. They are the same mix of assholes you find anywhere. Wharton, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, etc.
