All the places I avoid because of the crowds. I was thinking a drive along Palos Verdes for the view of the coast from Malibu down to Orange County and end at San Pedro. Catch the shuttle over to Catalina Island for lunch, go inland to see the buffalo, or a quick game of golf or some shopping. Come back for dinner at the Lighthouse in Long Beach Harbor (where we introduced JXN to Sarkie) or the Chowder Barge in L.A. Harbor. Malibu for brunch sounds good. Rodeo Drive also is a good possibility. Good suggestions.
