I gave gold good consideration at $323, going to ogle it at a merchant's premises to see if it would get me going.

<why did you not do so? >

Qualcomm was $24 at the time. It's now $46 and dividends are flowing regularly in large very Happy Meal amounts.

Gold had a very high in and out cost of about 10%. And it just sits there waiting for Hell to freeze over.

One thing and another - many reasons.

As it turned out, it would have been good. But not as good as buying GSAT at 28c a couple of months ago - I canceled my buy order and could have loaded up at 27c the next day. It's now about $1.60 = much better than gold and much more fun.

There are many opportunities going past every day.

Anyway, my new currency is going to be in competition with gold and much better so why bother?
