Bastids!

But well, since GM tripled in one week... and HEB trades at $3 etc...

these car parts companies are all surrogates of GM trading now, as GM no longer has stock-related derivatives.

GM trades at 1.60. Its future contract which is unhedgeable now, trades below 1. Maturing in one week. You bet.

Well. Axl there are 2 angles. It could fall back after the GM CDS auction (same as GM stock), or if the auction goes well, it could really run. Auction is on friday.

In bullish times one could say the auction makes stuff clearer and thats a positive...

Right now I am a bit undecided because of the persisting strength of that stuff (including the ongoing GM squeeze, something familiar to me as I saw similar squeezes in UAL and others).

the mentality now, to pull every dog out of its house and, to make stocks hump 2 times, not one time ... makes me a bit wary on new short positions.

Yet this can change every minute.

What a great short.... 1.32, not coming back soon, unless a miracle happens.
