Kenneth, You should know that democrats have a HUGE majority in California. California is living proof that high taxes and high spending lead to fiscal disaster. It's the same road Obama and the democratic majority is sending us down.

Aside from that, the Dems control state government in Kallyfornia. Not much even a fiscally conservative governor could do.
