Re: buy foreclosure.

Interesting, never even crossed my mind.

I have to check though, I'm not sure the CDN market has much going on in foreclosures. We have survived remarkably well in RE up to this moment so far but my gut tells me its coming big time.

Thx....I'll keep that in mind, good suggestion.

P.S. Anyone know the US national unemploymet rate?

Not a bad thought.

As everyone and his kids is buying gold, or has been buying gold which made sense as to the monetary debasing... it is up three times when housing is like flat or down 50%, depending where you look.

But for now I tend to buy treasuries. THis comes always when I see the opposite instrument (TBT is) trading afterhours. Meaning only one thing - the high for this instrument is near.

It traded 59 today.

Any word from the treasury about tightening (which is actually long priced into fed funds futures now)... and there will be a relief rally on the long end.

(Before that happens it will be interesting what pain level treasury holders will bear. It could be right here or another five to eight points lower).
