There are plenty that can tolerate the daytime temps. these days. Several were developed in Israel. If I take care and water indeterminates, they can survive our summer drought and bear in the fall. My parents have a couple that made it through the winter, even. Big plants.

But the lows are the problem. For example, our low was 79 for last night. I have seen it in the 90s. They just won't set fruit at those temps.
