Just my opinion?

I don't think it's a fire sale, I think it's a sucker trap. My call would be to hesitate before jumping in.

I'm not a regular.
But I disagree with Pat the Putz
I'm looking at next year.
Not this afternoon, or tomorrow morning.

BECAUSE----
if you're investing with a horizon time line keeping it in relationship with your mid 30s age
BUY
buy fundamentally solid stocks.
In areas with which you are familar, and know something about.

Someone needs to make a call to AV on the "red phone". Either that or shine the "AV" light in the sky.

As for "Pat the...", the important thing to glean from his posts is market direction. If he thinks we are in for a quick reversal, then buying now would be a mistake because that would most likely mean the institutions would be selling (again). The idea is to buy when others are selling and vice versa. Of course we all know that and it's easier said than done. (gg)

P.S. Jake's opinion is probably just as valid as mine or the "experts" in times like these. (gg)
