You can sweep many things under the carpet and pretend the are not there. A problem arises only when those who can not tolerate whats under the carpet complain enough and refuse to pay rent until its removed.

So it is removed and placed where those who would complain will never know where it resides.

Madoff had it right but forget the single most important rule;never let them know the truth. Wall St survives on fiction,ignorance and greed.
