Toronto, 11 June, 2009 - Metals Creek Resources Corp. (the "Corporation", TSXV: "MEK") is pleased to provide the following update on its Betts Cove PGE discovery on the Baie Verte Peninsula, Newfoundland. Recent channel sampling by the corporation, have confirmed the presence of high grade Platinum Group Elements. Three continuous one meter channel samples resulted in 1.606 g/t platinum, 7.461 g/t palladium, 0.263 g/t gold, 0.943% copper, and 0.661% nickel average over the three meters (See table below). The Betts Cove PGE showing was recently discovered by MEK prospectors in the fall of 2008.

Sample# Sample Type Au ppb Pt ppb Pd ppb Rh ppb Cu % Ni % Co ppm
51814 1 meter channel 167 2006 8586 121 0.958 0.592 259
51815 1 meter channel 350 1696 9053 142 1.268 0.997 326
51816 1 meter channel 272 1118 4746 036 0.602 0.394 165

The Betts Cove Complex is interpreted as part of a Lower Ordovician aged oceanic crust and mantle that was developed through sea-floor spreading and was subsequently thrust (obducted) on to the Fleur de Lys continental mass. The Complex is made up predominately of mafic and ultra-mafic volcanic and related intrusive rocks which are host to a number of copper and gold deposits including past producers at the Tilt Cove Copper Mine, the Betts Cove Copper Mine and the Nugget Pond Gold Mine.

Additional prospecting, sampling and detailed grid work is scheduled to better define the recently discovered PGE mineralization.

All samples were sent to Accurassay Laboratories in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The precious metals were analyzed utilizing a standard fire assay with atomic absorption finish and the base metals were analyzed utilizing acid digestion and an atomic absorption finish.
