Before my time, but McCarthy losing hurt us all. in retrospect, maybe the end of the conservative argument having the upper hand. only Anne Coulter has tried to burnish his image. The left got hold of the narrative. You see it the high culture. Whitiker Chambers. Alger Hiss. The left lied about history and has gotten away with it.
