You would need to look at the David Faber interview (I've heard, although didn't see) with Frank the day before (Tues, I believe).

Also, the exchange between Frank and a guest commentator Tues which I did see. I don't normally search CNBS so didn't find them in the few minutes I looked, but I'm sure they are available.

Either one provides context to the Haines exchange.

Haines didn't go into lawyer mode in a vacuum.

Thank you for posting that. Wow, wow, wow!

It unfolded almost exactly as I thought except that Haines was much more diplomatic than usual given the circumstances. Haines had a legitimate question, which deserved a legitimate answer.

Senator Frank is a total a$$hole. He always uses the "you're interrupting me!" strategy when someone tries to stop his deflection and misdirection.
