Well I hope you guys used this day to buy some more mvis. I found a referance to automotive companies using similar technologies in this months Aviation Week (check out the online version). There is a company that is called Iscan. They have a system that tracks the movement of the eyeball through the use of a small camera. This system is the basis of some of the new helmet mounted sights. Evidently the auto companies are interested in this technology for simulation purposes. The system is apparently limited in its display capability, thus there might be some interest in the VRD technology.

*off topic* Jan,

Isn't it funny how similarity on concern cross the world: I'd hate having my wife looking over my shoulder at a portfolio list last Monday. She'd have a fit! I've decided to give her a brief on the situation at year-end, when I can sum up the accumulated gains...

PS: I had my new car delivered yesterday, so I'm not looking/waiting for VRD for the next 5 to 10 years...
First time in my life I've bought a brand new one. She's a beauty. Boston green metallic, BMW 318i. I'd love to see MVIS up a few $$, on order to get my first down payments out of the world...
