CNBC reported that even the big brokerage houses were backed up with confirmations.

Small consolation.

I told the poor E*Trade rep that finally answered the phone that their service is unacceptable and I'm cancelling the account.

Now to figure out a better place to go. Might look into the new Fidelity internet-based service.
