France has one of the highest satisfaction ratings of any country in the world. And much lower costs. Ans that's not addressing the other countries I mentioned.

I don't have a link but in discussion with another person I've heard that Mayo Rochester and Jacksonville FL have done some amazing thing wrt reducing cost. One of the primary factors was to put doctors on salary; with heavy resistance.

Doctors, right now, are essentially on commission. The more tests they order, the more money they make. The more procedures they can talk the patient into, the more money they make. It works... they order excessive tests and procedures and the whole system makes more money.

By putting them on salary, with no fiscal incentive to order excessive tests and procedures, they reduced costs dramatically.

These are the type of solutions we look for from people like you in the industry. And all we get is the same BS "we have the best health care system in the world and so just pay up and shut up".

The ultimate result is it will break the country.
