Why would mining stocks not follow the general market down this time like they did in 2008 and steal all of our lunch money?

Hi Dak:

I agree that this market is poised at the cliff's edge.

Jim Rogers, who loves to short, has no short positions, as he is fearful of "bail-out" money making it into stocks. My reason for not shorting (which I usually enjoy) is that the authorities can change the rules in a heart beat.
