Eric - I use a laptop loaded with the E.Schwab software to execute the actual trades. You can trade via their proprietary logon, which does not use the net. Locally where I live (and maybe nationwide), they use the Compuserve network as a vehicle for you to logon to their systems directly. It's faster and bypasses all that internet garbage. I have a local number to call here to connect. I am hearing however, that some are having problems getting through even using this method, best of luck to you. I just checked Dow volume, it's already over 650 million shares, guess that has something to do with it!! John
