I expect what I pay them for. Service. If they really expect that "in the future, everyone will trade this way", then they need to get their act together. Volume is only gonna get heavier in future. They have the means. A VPN would clear up these problems. Sure they'd have to shell out a few extra bucks, but hell, look at their bloated stock price. They can afford a private network. Pretty soon all major companies will have them. Since E*trade is trying to break new ground in this field, it would behoove them to lead the way.
