Obama would be reduced to a quivering heap in a heartbeat if the media decided to turn on him with even a tenth of the furor it unleashed on Sarah Palin.

Give credit where due, Obama does have a good amount of aplomb in dealing with a crisis. I just heard someone who just wrote a book about the Obama campaign (his name escapes me) say that the campaign really did think that Jeremiah Wrights' Youtube sermons might be the end of the Obama campaign. Obama didn't fold but rose to the challenge. You might say that the speech was diversionary garbage, and it wouldn't have worked if the media hadn't been in the tank for him, and you are probably right; but still, Obama didn't become a quivering heap.

The big unanswered question is: how will Obama's aplomb hold up when reality refuses to conform to his instructions, and his many implied promises are seen to be empty? TWT

Dash cam video from the confrontation between an Oklahoma State Trooper and a paramedic (trooper claims he was upset because he didn't think the ambulance properly yielded to him and thought the driver had flipped him off). This is a reason to hold up an ambulance on an emergency run to the ER and to put a choke hold on the EMT?

Looks like another out of control LEO who needs to be out of a job.

I think you're right.
