The stimulus is already working. Many more jobs would have been lost without the stimulus. The worst recession since the great depression started in December of 07. There were 13 straight months of job losses before Obama took office. You can't expect miracles after less than 5 months in office.

Obama said we'd see positive effects by June if the stimulus passed.

However, doing nothing would have yielded better results.
