"You might want to acknowledge those risks rather than waste time declaring victory against straw men" Nothing is risk free. For now, it is far riskier to do nothing than what is being done. For the moment, the fear of inflation is mis-placed. Doing nothing almost certainly would result in a deflationary spiral since it looks like we have hit a liquidity trap or at least are close. Just ask the Japanese how well that worked out for them.
