I like the solution! If, as you say, it's labor cost that's killing these companies, the UAW has an owners stake now. It's up to THEM to fix it and return them to profitability. If they don't, the companies will fail, and the UAW will fail with them.

What's not to like?

However, Obama was determined to salvage the UAW's fat paychecks, at taxpayers expense.

Obama is determined to save this country, not the peculiar ideology of the right these days and what it dictates.
