Now I know why they say individual investors didn't panic. They could not get through. Yesterday I got through to E-Schwab but couldn't do anything for an hour and a half. Today cannot get through at all.

Concerning shorting

There may be better stocks to short but shorting Intel is like shorting the Tech sector.

I picked it because I felt it was grossly overvalued when I shorted it, less so now than when I picked it.

As to trading, I use a reliable broker with a track record of proven execution---Siebert. I put my orders in verbally not through the Internet before trading starts for the day. I had no trouble getting through to a broker today. I use the Internet for real time information but not for trading. Execution is more important than cheap commisssions.

As to philosophy I pick a target and am willing to wait for it. VK uses a different system. If he went in today at 72 then he made a bundle. I did not cover.

So I will either pay the price or raise my target on the next move down.

I still think Intel is headed for the 60's.
