Perhaps. I think before I can believe in your theory, I'd have to see some pretty incontrovertible proof that phytoplankton levels are decreasing due to primary root causes other than increasing CO2 levels and ocean acidification. If that were proven, then I could say it isn't just a classic example of a disastrous feedback loop.
