the future indeed belongs to progressives...your children will live in a progressive society, and the world will moderate with time. Dinos like you are an endangered species. You're over-reacting. Like Ted, you're almost child-like in your enthusiasm. And the are two basic reasons you're wrong: 1) The movements of the election cycle are fickle, and respond more to who is the better campaigner than they do who is the better candidate (as the most recent election proved). Someone will be along who, like Reagan, captures the hearts and minds of voters with a conservative point of view. 2) Obama really hasn't had his first big loss yet; he's getting a very long honeymoon. Perhaps health care will be his Waterloo. But whatever happens, he has set us on a course than is, frankly, unsustainable. It is so fiscally irresponsible the country cannot proceed down this path if it WANTED to.
