I used etrade this past summer when all was well and on one occassion,k there computers decided not to report transacted trades, so one did not know if buys or sells went through. Then, after waiting 45 minutes on hold to get through, I was told that even the live bodies could not confirm anything. Talk about having your hands completely tied(especially if you put in MARKET orders). I have gone back to Waterhouse. They have been the best. I got through fine today, but making trades have been hard for everyone. I never wait longer than 4 or 5 minutes to talk to a live body and my transactions have been 99% on target. Etrade is so bad because they are cheap. They probably have three or four high school students working the phones there. When word gets out how bad they are, they will either change or get killed by people coming along like e.schwab and other major houses(like waterhouse) coming through when you really need them. The only thing good on etrade is the investor resource info on companies, but waterhouse is coming along now. I spoke to Lionel yesterday. He has only been with BCMD since September. That was discouraging. Where is the other PR before that? He says there is another news release in the works, which means probably little. But keep hopes up. I got the impression that this company needs money soon to really get at the mines they have, probably the mine that is producing all this gold. Otherwise, people will walk. Promises won't pay the people working the big trucks and other heavy-duty equipment. I asked Lionel how they are going to catch a big investor without showing hype in what MAY be there. His response was to focus on the low cost of getting it out(the 150 issue raised in a previous post was totally correct). I asked how to avoid the same debacle as Bre-X . His response was that they had no intention of hyping anything, but waiting to release news on PRODUCTION NUMBERS. This could be why we have not heard in so long what is happening. Perhaps everyone is counting and weighing and wanting to have HARD evidence of the finds. This is all I have for now. BCMD does not have a solid company as people were trying to say to me earlier. They ARE in Financial difficulty, but one investor can change all that. Let's hope they do. I say if news comes out on JV, that may be as big as announcing that there is gold in them thar hills!!
