It's sometimes still surprises me how much people don't know. <from the top of my head before I check: momentum is mass*speed squared >

With only 1 kg of brain each, which is based on wet chemistry, we have no chance whatsoever of knowing more than a minuscule amount. No wonder geopolitical catastrophes occur regularly.

People with only 1kg of brain power decide to be a "bold, strong man" and they get the backing of the ignorant mob, each wielding their 1 kg of dunder-headed ignorance and away they go, into the abyss.

For example, they have misunderstood the current financial and economic woes to show that capitalism failed. It didn't, but they can't understand that. So away they go, thinking that they can get 4 x the economic momentum by doubling the monetary velocity, spending their way out of debt and financial woes.

In fact, it takes 4 x as much energy to double the economic speed. But they can't understand that.

Another misunderstanding they have is "markets have momentum". No they don't. Markets represent minds and minds don't have momentum. They have habits, but that's quite a different thing though it can give the illusion of momentum.
