The MASSIVE TRADING MACHINES LIKE TIGHT TRADING RANGES and they will maintain as loooooooooooooong as they can. From TSR, they express it well, and simply. As the market awaits a catalyst, it is bouncing in a narrow trading range between 925 and 950 in the S&P 500. A great many active traders in the futures pits in Chicago are quite comfortable with a range-bound market (buying the low band and selling the high band over and over), which is one reason markets tends to stay in congestion about 70% of the time. The close today at 924 reveals they are JUST maintaining control. We will see how the algorithm futures behemoth's do tomorrow. But this just reveals how utterly artificial are market remains, they are making moneney ONLY by churning money RELENTLESSLY. They are NOT investing in anything. It is as utterly a PARASITIC form of gathering wealth for the Fat Boys ever conceived, and does nothing for the real economy. Those people that think this is the actual history of the market, that think it has always has been this way, are uterrly clueless. GoldManThugsSachs announced in about the year 2000 they were in a 5 year program to remove people from trading, and give it to MEGA-COMPUTERS. JPMafia did the same. And they are linked the The Fed's MegaComputer--- so who is running the show?????????? Those that think it is The Fed are FUNNY, The Fed is GS and JPM and few other of The Rulers. Now i can wait for POET to get all agitated for me saying these are rotten parasitic hustlers these Fat Cats that RULE this darkly devised Plutocracy. Technology, and the growth of these super machines ever increasingly leads to a bright new future, yeh as bright as The Future revealed in Terry Gilliams BRILLIANT movie "Brazil"--but be warned there are two versions, Terry's version, that ends WITH NO ESCAPE, and the one Hollywood demanded and hammewred on, a "miraculous escape" by the Jonathan Pryce character. In Terry's version you see the "miraculous escape" and then Terry slams the door of reality into the audiences face, showing Pryce slumped over dead in the chair where he was being tortured, and that Pryce was only hallucinating just before his death. Max p.s. But for me, Death is The Escape--cheers:) Max
