I have 5 accounts with Schwab, cannot access
any of them today. Cannot even get hold of a human. I came to this thread to shop, will look further, I guess. Maybe No one is open to us little folks today.

>It's not just Datek that is freezing out their customers. I have accounts with two other brokerage firms and have been unable to log on to either all morning. When I call customer service I get busy signals. Is their a conspiracy here?

Over the last 30 minutes (12:00 EST or so), I've been using Datek with no problems. Haven't actually fired off any trades yet (did put in a couple, but decided not to confirm them) - everything looks normal from this end. Response time is good, too. I've been on both orders8 and orders, fwiw.

Interesting - Since they worked yesterday, perhaps this means there are more buyers today than sellers yesterday? hoho
I'd hate to think the brokerages are too busy buying themselves to let us in.
