Qualcomm posted a video yesterday showing the 5.5" bichrome display and the 2.2" color display....starting around the 2:15 mark.

This is a very short clip, but I would assume that they attempted to show the display under the best possible conditions...and to my eyes the display quality falls far below that of OLED's or LCD's.

Did you actually compare it [the Mirasol display] to an iPhone or another high-end handset?

Yes. We took the Mirasol display outside the building and compared it to my wife's iPod Touch, which has the same quality screen as the iPhone. The sunlight made the iPod Touch very hard to read. Indoors, in the lobby area where they were demonstrating the Mirasol, the colors and resolution of the two displays were close enough to make Mirasol a reasonable choice even under optimum LCD viewing conditions. But as I note, what we saw was only a prototype.
