People who are maxed out on credit won't make ends meet with unemployment benefits, as they will be significantly lower than their earnings had been. I've never heard the 79 weeks bit before, although that will depend upon the state in which you live. For people on unemployment and spending up a storm, it's a sure bet they are from the state of denial.
