It was far easier to steal the gold from the folks in 1933. They simply made it illegal to have gold coinage except for collector issues. They didn't make jewelry illegal and they told the folks that they would get dollars for the coins. Even trade eh? lol Now there is no gold or even silver coinage to take from circulation. They even took the copper form the one cent pieces. Will they make gold jewelry illegal except for wedding rings? I just don't see where they will get monetized gold to steal from the good old folks. Maybe they will make "Bamas"...Ones fives, tens , twennies, fiddies an hunids! Every new bill will be worth ten older bills. All your savings, checking and securities accounts will electronically be changed to reflect the 10% value of the new Bamas. They will have beautiful portraits of the Obamas on the bills and the reverse will have the Chicago Transit Authority and other historic buildings.
