Detour Gold Announces $48.4 Million Bought Deal Offering TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 16, 2009) - NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO U.S. NEWSWIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES. Detour Gold Corporation (TSX:DGC) ("Detour Gold" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with a syndicate of underwriters led by Raymond James Ltd. and BMO Capital Markets under which the underwriters have agreed to buy 4,000,000 common shares of the Company ("Common Shares") at a price of $12.10 per Common Share, representing aggregate gross proceeds of $48,400,000. In addition, the underwriters will also have an option exercisable at any time until the closing of the offering to increase the size of this offering by up to an additional 400,000 Common Shares for additional gross proceeds of up to $4,840,000. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to advance its Detour Lake gold project and for general corporate purposes. Closing of this offering is expected to be on or about July 14, 2009 and is subject to certain conditions, including but not limited to, receipt of all necessary securities regulatory approvals (including the approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange).

Elegance ....huge fan of the concept here. Use it at work to achieve productivity that baffles the young ones. When they comment how do you do it? I say Pure Elegance. Which baffles them even more...ha,ha. Working on applying the concept to my portfolio. Seems to require a certain detachment from the positions I'm holding... and viewing time as my friend.
